Be healthy as we study for a better future..
As a sick Bay is essential to every learning environment, so are the availability of adequate equipments and instruments in the sick bay. May & Baker Nigeria Plc. celebrating its 70th years since September 4, 1944 as the first Pharmaceutical Company and successful firm so far in Nigeria.
Mr. Nnamdi Okafor, the Managing Director says we believe that giving back to the society is the way we can sustain our operations as a business, is by supporting the society that has trusted and supported us through the years.
As we celebrate, these 3 Schools in Lagos these got the equipments and instruments :
Central Primary School, Ikeja
United African Methodist Primary School, Eleja
St. Agnes Primary School, Sabo, Yaba.
On Tuesday 2nd of September, 2014. The Managing Director handed over
4 Hospital Beds
Examination Couch
Two counseling tables
Examination Screen
Trolley with First aid kits and dressing equipments
Medicine Cupboards
Set of Water Dispenser
Weighing Scale
Flat Screen Televisions
Two ceiling fans
Two air conditioners to the sickbays of to assist the shools with facilities needed for healthcare and emergency cases as it remains a top priority, which the firm tends to extend to other public schools across the country.
"The firm is committed to saving lives, a starting point is the lives of children who constitute the future of the country, with believe in giving back to the society is the way we can sustained and support that has trusted and supported us thorugh the years. I'm sure the sickbay will be a pleasant surprise to pupils and parents when the resume school." Said Mr. Okafor.
